About the Role
We are seeking warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated preschool teachers to join our team. As a teacher at Little Folks Day School, you will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment where children ages 2 years 9 months through 6 years can learn, grow, and thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum activities
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
- Observe and document each child's progress and development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and EEC-compliant classroom
Qualifications
- EEC Teacher or Lead Teacher certification (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a licensed early childhood setting (preferred)
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Genuine passion for working with young children
- Reliable, patient, and nurturing demeanor
